Making money from the 2012 Olympics

Making money has always been the single most important aspect in an individual’s life, most of whom are interested with how to make money quickly and effectively.

At times though we do have to accept that we have to be at the right place at the right time – but other times we just have to know when it is right to go and market ourselves and find the right business opportunity.

The London 2012 Olympics will be held between 27 July and 12 August this year… that is just a few months away now and if you have been keeping on top of the news for the preparations you will know that things are warming up as the excitement level is increasing.

In the Olympics there are many ways that money can be made in an ethical way.

With the amount of tourists coming into the country, prices of everything is increasing, including train tickets, food and souvenirs. One of the most important factors for people travelling to the Olympics is where are they going to stay. Accomodation is going to get really expensive and still is the most important factor for the people (well, apart from the actual tickets to the events) – and you can profit from this even if you are not in London.

Tourists from all over the world are coming into UK and one can easily provide accomodation, I do not suggest people sleeping on the garden bench and give their own cosy bedroom to complete strangers, what I mean is that you can easily give your unused garden away for a few days or so…..all you do is advertise that you have a garden which can be used to camp in.
Imagine the kind of response one will get as we get closer to the time, all hotels and b&b’s are already booked out and the closer we get the less space will be available, even the rooms that will be available will be charging thousand’s.

You can take it one step further by setting up a website where the possibilities can be endless. With people looking for places to stay, you can then even have an add on extra service for people to use the bathroom at an extra small cost, or serve tea or have food items. You can then set up an affiliate network to generate money via your website with items selling tents, sleeping bags as people who may not have been interested in this way of accomodation may well, so have a double way of generating income.

This does not only apply to London, you can expand and take this idea to music festivals, (such as Reading or Leeds) or to sporting events like the Grand Prix. Accomodation is always at a premium when an event hits the town.

Renting out some space in your garden costs virtually nothing. So whatever is charged can go straight to your back pocket.

Also, as it is not a permanent campsite you do not need special planning permission either. The reason why this idea is likely to be a hit is that people would always take action if they think there is a way to make money fast.
The idea is that people will always know and try to work a good way to make money. As long as they are told about this in a positive manner this should be very appealing to all concerned.
